An Artist's Heaven

Based on a dream I once had.
Anyone who's seen the film "What Dreams May Come" might get the idea or influence here.

As artists, I think at least, we're always kinda playing God in a way - we create characters, families, worlds, stories with our artwork and we give life to them with colours, storytelling and our imagination more than other people.

Now I'm not much of a believer, I'm more agnostic than anything. I tend to not let anything be deemed impossible and don't fixate on a mindset. Honestly, I tend to live and enjoy life the way I want way more than concentrate on a kingdom in the clouds all my life and fearing afterlife in a burning pan or disregarding everything and going out of my way to make people believe that everything is pointless and that all is a fairy tale. I keep my views realistic, but I don't disregard possibilities of something existing. Some mystery in life always makes it more worth living. This is why I don't get along too well with people who are strictly religious or atheist. They have an air stubborness about it and refuse to accept any other opinion.

In a dream of mine a while ago, I pretty much dreamt up my own vision of heaven, an artist's heaven. While being in more or less nothingness, I could create things around me with outline, give colour to them, life, history. And I would expand on these things. I had a guide there, a girl that did her own things and explained it to me as well. I don't remember what she looked like at this point, but I decided to use another girl I dreamt up, Miho.

Back when I was doing Warrior Collision, I wanted to implement this dream, this idea, into the comic. Because Sin would at one point die and see his own afterlife, with Miho as his guide. She would explain that he could structure his afterlife himself, everything would correspond to his thoughts and be made. Living in this emptyness with only Miho to accompany him, he would spend what would seem an eternity there before being allowed to be reborn into the world.

Anyway, I was honestly playing around in Paint Tool Sai, just practicing colouring by drawing anything and eventually drew this. Originally wanted to put this into scraps, but decided to work on it a little more and give it slightly more detail here and there, so I posted it as normal.
